On open days/nights the door will unlock with a press of the # key on the keypad. A notice advertising this should be placed on the downstairs door.
* On open days/nights ring the doorbell to be let in.
 
Outside of these times the # key acts as a doorbell.

* Present your card to the reader by the keypad at the outside door. If another member is already present you should get a green light and the door will unlock.
* If the gate is open ring the doorbell.
* Repeat this procedure with the reader at the top of the stairs.

If the space is currently closed:
* Unlock the gate using the padlock combination, lock the padlock ''outside'' the space next to the keypad.
 
* Present your card to the keypad to the right of the door.
* Present your card to the reader by the keypad at the outside door.
* The light should illuminate blue.
* The light should illuminate blue.
* Enter your PIN

* The light will turn green and the door will unlock.

If the space is already open:

Since the space is now open (the sign at the top of the stairs will be illuminated) you'll only need to present your card to the reader at the top of the stairs to unlock the door.

* If you are the last person to leave this should turn off the blue sign.
* If the sign doesn't turn off then someone forgot to log out. Press the * button on the keypad to force the space to close.
* Please ensure the doors are locked, windows are closed, lights and equipment are turned off (except equipment that stays switched on).

  • On open days/nights ring the doorbell to be let in.

Access for members with an RFID card

  • If the gate is open ring the doorbell.

Access for members with an RFID card and PIN

  • Unlock the gate using the padlock combination, lock the padlock outside the space next to the keypad.
  • Present your card to the keypad to the right of the door.
  • The light should illuminate blue.
  • Enter your PIN
  • The light will turn green and the door will unlock.
