Hackspace kitchen

The hackspace has a kitchen, as most of the people at the space are humans, and humans (reportedly) require food in order to continue to function. Should you be hacking away and decide to not order a take away, the kitchen has all kitchen based esentials for doing whatever one does with a kitchen.

It is located off the Right hand side of the craft area, near the laser cutter.

The kitchen contains all the usual kitchen based equipment necesary for the heating and preparing of food and drinks including:

  • An Oven
  • A Kettle
  • A Fridge/Freezer
  • A Microwave
  • Many mugs
  • Plates and Utensils
  • Many tea bags
  • A sink
  • A water heater

Safety

NONE of the equiptment in the kitchen is to be used for any purpose other than preparing food if it could cause contamination.

E.g. Using kettle to pre-heat water for the ultrasonic cleaner - Fine, as the interior of the kettle is only contacting water

E.g. Using the oven as an SMD reflow oven - Not fine, as solder isn't meant to be ingested.

Also, Remember Rule 0 when preparing food
