To control the WiFi-HiFi you need to be on the local network using an MPD client. To add to the playlist, stop/start the music or such you just connect to 'wifihifi' with default details and alter the playlist accordingly.

The WiFi-HiFi is often the staple choice for music in the space, it can play MP3s, most formats and internet radio streams.

It's often playing Planet Rock, typically.

Clients

  • Linux users will probably find gmpc is available in their standard software repo.
  • Windows users can get gmpc here.

Connection

The server is wifihifi (172.31.26.12).

No authentication is required, you'll need to be on the hackspace network in order to connect.
